In 2017, a small group of students from UCLA created a podcast originally called Xicana Tiahui. At UCLA, Xicana Tiahui flourished for a small time until its members slowed down due to university pressures and student organizing. Coming out of a two-year hiatus, Xicana Tiahui re-organized itself in 2020 to create the Chicanx World-Making and Futurities Project. The members are committed to sharing stories of our world and the worlds we create in our every day lives through a diverse media approach.
